A downloadable game for Windows

The worst time to miss the last bus is when you're stuck on a snowy mountain campus at midnight. Even worse is when a nine-foot-tall rusty statue is on the hunt for you.

In SFU Wintertide, a game inspired by original Playstation graphics, you're tasked with finding a way to the nearest Evo car in order to leave the mountain before it's too late. Turning up your volume and managing your flashlight usage should be considered to avoid the statue and remain hidden.

DISCLAIMER: The statue in this game is not inspired by any real sculptures at SFU or anywhere else. While the game draws inspiration from SFU, it is entirely fictional.

(UPDATE I)

Five years after making this game, I decided to come back and give it an update. This was mostly due to the fact that it was made in a week and it was littered with bugs and rushed. The update consists of terrain details, more sound effects throughout the game, change in colors for better atmosphere, more intuitive controls, etc. Check devlog!

(UPDATE II)

Fixed a serious bug with shaders noticed by @AudioCupcake. Thanks!

Im sorry for not finishing it. Needs a few tweaks here and there, but other than that very spooky!

Hello, I tried to play this game but Im unable to get pass the monster cause even if I turn off the flash light and hide he still sees me and kills me everytime, I tried to complete it but the monster just kills you doesn't matter if you've the flashlight turned on or off, I liked the environment it was creepy but sadly couldn't finish the game

Hi Stella, sorry for the 5 year late response. I actually just patched it and it should be much better in this regard now. I hope you give it another shot :)
